Dragon Ball DAIMA is coming in 2024

Dragon Ball DAIMA revealed during a panel at New York Comic Con will be the new release of the Dragon Ball franchise that will commemorate the celebration of 40 years of the series, it will be released in October 2024 with a total of 20 episodes in its first season.

In the words of Akira Toriyama, DAIMA would be a made-up term that would mean “Evil”.

SYNOPSIS.

Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends become small.

To set things right, they’ll head to a new world!

It’s a great adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world.

Since Goku has to compensate for his small size, he uses his Nyoibo (power pole) to fight, something that hasn’t been seen in a long time.

In an interview about the new release, Akira Toriyama gave his impressions:

I came up with the story and the settings, as well as a lot of the designs. I’m actually putting a little more into this than usual!

Things will unfold that will approach the mysteries of the world of Dragon Ball. I hope everyone enjoys these different battles than the usual ones that are cute and powerful.

Mazako Noswa, who voices Goku in Japanese, showed his enthusiasm for the new release in the franchise.

Wasn’t the video for the new series “Dragon Ball DAIMA” amazing? Tokyo was so adorable and wonderful! I wonder about the conspiracy behind Goku’s new look. The story will take place after Majin Boo’s defeat and before the arrival of Bills on Earth.
